Blank Homeowner’s Manual for NAHB Green.

We offer this Homeowner’s Manual as a service to builders involved in the NAHB Green Homebuilding program (although everyone is welcome and encouraged to use it). We also offer a big thank you to MMW Architects for doing most of the work of putting this together.

Under the NAHB Model Green Home Building Guidelines there are up to 11 points available for providing homeowners with information on how to operate, maintain, and live in their Green Home. This can be a LOT of work to put together so this Word Document (click on the link below to download it) can save you loads of time and effort. You will still need to go through and add the relevant information specific to your project as much of the information in the document came from a specific Green Building project in Missoula, MT. So you will need to take the time to replace it with the correct information for your project and location. However, this will give you a great head start on putting together an excellent Homeowner’s Manual.

If you live and build somewhere other than Missoula, MT you are more than welcome to revise this Homeowner’s Manual for your area.
