An air-source heat pump uses electrical energy to heat your home but is significantly more efficient than regular electric heating. These systems operate on similar principles to a ground source heat pump; however they are not quite as efficient. These systems look just like air conditioners and connect to regular forced air duct work in the same manner as a furnace or ground source heat pump. These systems typically make the most sense in sites without natural gas utility service or when utility prices favor electrical consumption. We offer expert planning, design, and installation for air-source heat pumps in new construction and re-model projects. Call us to learn more or discuss your specific project.
